PROBE TYPES
The SensorPush TC.x is compatible with most standard thermocouple (TC) probe systems.
TC probe connectors are color-coded to help identify the probe type. Be sure to compare both the color of the plastic base and the metal composition of the pins. Colors vary based on country of origin and there is no international standard, so consult info from your probe retailer for most accurate info.
ADAPTABILITY AND RANGE
While the sensor is digital, the TC probes are analog. So the probe-type sensor adjusts quickly to changes in conditions. It doesn’t require time to adjust like the standard digital sensor. This is useful for users who need to increase the sample rate. (Note, a new sensor may require a moment to register the first readings.
Depending on the probe you use, it’s possible to measure ranges within –250° C to +1800° C. The included probe has a range of –200° C to +205° C.
SUBMERSION
Please note when selecting a probe, typically only probes with a hermetically sealed tip are suitable for submersion in a liquid.
